Kep Children is a new organization based in Kep. The aim is to give a chance to poor children (generally living nearby the city dump) to go to Khmer school.

A contract with the family, the school principal is made. We take care of uniforms, school supplies, bicycles (tuktuk carriage is organized for small children), health and provide rice for the month.

We hope to give the opportunity to facilitate the work condition of family and for the children to have a better life.

L’École Ayravady à Kep
Totalement gratuite.

There is no nursery for underprivileged families in Kep.

• LA MAISON DE KEP hosts a maximum of 20 children from 3 months to 6 years old to be prepared for entry into the local education system.
• In addition their mothers may thus consider paid work. Elder children who generally take care of their younger siblings may also attend a normal schooling.

Targeted children are those who live in disadvantaged neighborhoods and the fishing village near the structure.

Completely handmade original pieces include coconut jewelry, traditional loom-woven scarves, recycled plastic baskets and accessories, handmade soap and more.

Our producers are from traditional farming families living and working in Cambodia's rural Chamcar Bei village. In 2008 they formed a women's cooperative to improve their livelihoods and play an active role in shaping their community.

All profits from handicraft sales go directly to the producers and to WHADA to fund their operations.

Buy our products at: Community Shop in Chamcar Bei village, the Vine Retreat, Knai Bang Chatt's Sailing Club in Kep, and Rabbit Island.
